August 29 and 30, 2011 were holidays as declared and announced!!

The following dates were recently declared as non-working holidays by the Malacañang Palace last July 23, 2011.

  • August 29, 2011 - National Heroes Day
  • August 30, 2011 - end of Ramadan

The announcement was done by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte in a radio interview.
